Does your restaurant have karaoke or dance music? Check if you also need a music licence from Teosto
If your restaurant plays dance music either live or, for example, played by a DJ, you also need a live music or reproduction music licence from Teosto. The restaurant’s background music licence also does not cover the rights to record the music played by the DJ. For recording, the restaurant can purchase a venue specific Venue DJ licence, which covers the recording of music on behalf of all the DJs performing in the restaurant. Karaoke also requires the permission of recorded music by Teosto
