Background music in timeshare operations
The licence covers the public performance of background music from a phonogram (e.g. TV, radio, computer, webradio, CD, streaming service suitable for public use) in the timeshares owned by the company managing the timeshares.
The licence is venue specific
The timeshares owned by the managing company are added together and the sum is divided by 52, which determines the calculated number of holiday apartments/rooms (rounded up)
The monthly compensation is determined according to the price list based on the number of rooms. Example: There are a total of 850 weekly shares. 850 / 52 = 16.34, i.e., 17 rooms
The billing cycle is selected when purchasing a licence, and it can be annual, semi-annual or quarterly
The notice period for the licence is one month
