Special terms and conditions: Background music in day center activities

If, upon conclusion of the agreement, the customer has chosen a licence solely for the works of rights holders represented by Teosto or Gramex, this agreement applies to those rights only.

By this music license agreement, GT Musiikkiluvat Oy agrees, as assigned by Gramex, on the compensation set out in section 47 of the Finnish Copyright Act relating to the public performance of recordings.

By this license agreement, the customer:

• agrees with Gramex on the compensation payable to performing artists and producers of recordings for the public performance of the recordings in day center activities on the premises of an operator.

The license covers gratuitous events arranged for daily users and their visitors when the number of participants is no more than 200 persons. The premises of an operator refer to such premises to which the customers of the day center activities and their visitors have free access, such as canteen and dining areas, lobbies and hobby rooms meant for the customers. The license does not cover space to which outsiders have access, such as lunch cafeterias and gyms. The license is facility specific.

In addition to these special terms and conditions, the general terms and conditions of GT Musiikkiluvat Oy apply.
